Great Cause – Great Competition

Acorn Printing has a tradition of helping charities and charity fundraisers as much as possible.  Today we proud to be supporting Justin Miles, a serial fundraiser for The Children’s Trust.  But this time the fundraiser is offering something back…

Justin Miles – Serial Fundraiser

Justin suffered a car accident in 1999, leaving him with brain injuries that meant he was unable to walk or talk properly.  Amazingly he was able to rebuild his life and regain his health.

He is now dedicated to supporting the work of The Children’s Trust, which provides care, therapy and rehabilitation to children with brain injuries, and providing the motivational spark for people to take up adventures of their own.

Justin spends a lot of time taking part in fundraising challenges and events.  This year he has already take part in the “Warwickshire Ring Challenge” and featured as one of group of kayakers in the flotilla for the Queens Diamond Jubilee Pageant.  Next year he is planning to undertake “The Quest for the Arctic Pole”, which seems like the ultimate challenge. There are more insights into what makes Justin tick on his “Just For The Challenge” website

Acorn are proud to be supporting him on his “Channel to Channel Challenge” in August when he will be kayaking from the Bristol Channel to the English Channel.  We are providing themed t-shirts printed for the all participants on the journey and doing our bit to ensure as many people as possible know about the event.

We are delighted to say that Justin has offered Acorn prize opportunity for our customers and connections. Would you like to WIN a “Surviving the Adventure Fun Day” with him on Saturday 4th August in Kenilworth? If so, go to our Facebook Page, “LIKE” our page and answer the Competition Question. The winner will be picked next Friday, 27th July. The Winner will also be announced on Facebook and in our next newsletter.

We hope to keep tabs on Justin as he crosses the country in his kayak during August.  So check out the blog, Facebook or Twitter to find out what’s happening.

Good luck Justin, from Acorn Printing.
