Credit crunch begins to bite

LogoReading the Sunday papers the large supermarkets report that the recent growth in Fair Trade and organic food has stopped and indeed is, on the decline as shoppers find the weekly food bill souring out of control. The general public are cutting back and buying on cost.
In our market we have not seen any evidence of this trend. The trend this year has been quite the opposite, with companies and groups looking at the bigger picture.
