The Fairwear Foundation is an international organisation which exists to promote fair labour conditions in the garment industry. The FWF monitors the code of practice within the manufacturing facilities of it's registered members. Continental were the first UK company to to obtain registration. The term Fair Trade used in the UK is a standard across all industries rather than specific to the garment trade.
