The Pirates of Olton Mere
It was great to help with the production of The Pirates of Olton Mere by printing special t shirts used in the show and could be bought on the night.
The Pirates of Olton Mere was pantomime being put on to help raise money for the Marie Curie Big Build appeal for its new hospice in Solihull and for Cancer Research UK. It was performed in March this year.
The pantomime was written and directed by Katie Newbon, it was performed by local Olton residents at Our Lady of Compassion Primary School, in Kineton Green Road.
Over 2 nights it was a sell out with £1100 raised for Cancer Research and £1100 raised for Marie Curie Big Build.

Vest Printing
Did you know we can print on vests? And we have great range of vests for you to choose from, from Fruit of the Loom to sports wicking vests. We can screen print, heat press or use direct to garment printing to get your logos, names and designs on to a vest. We do vest printing for charities, clubs, societies, universities, businesses and in fact anyone!
Our Fruit of the Loom vests are 100% Belcro cotton, high cut armholes for unisex fit and weights just 165 gsm. We have the vests in black, blue, grey, white and red.
The Marcel Style Vests from B&C are 100% ring spun combed cotton with a great soft feel and weights just 190 gsm. We have these vests in black, blue, army green, grey and white
Sport Vest Printing
If you’re after something a bit more sporty, we have a great range of sports vests with wicking.
Our Wicking athletic Vest comes in 15 Great colours and uses Just cool’s own Neoteric™ textured fabric and is WRAP certified production (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production).
Check out our Cooltex Performance Vest which comes in a range of colours – black/red, white / grey, black/fluorescent Lime, white / navy, black/fluorescent Orange for men and women. It is 100% polyester with full moisture control. We event have Lime and Orange colours which are Fluorescent, perfect for the early mornings or evenings.

Indian Cotton Exports – Ban Lifted

Yesterday India lifted the ban on cotton exports after a government panel reviewed the ban after a week. The Cotton Association of India are hoping the ban is lifted fully and this isn’t a partial lift.
According to Analysts, cotton prices are now likely to fall below $1 per pound after the ban had initially increased prices. We hope this will mean cheaper garments for you to buy.
The ban had been strongly disapproved by China, the largest purchaser of cotton.
India has stated they have already exported around 9.4m bales of cotton this financial year, much higher than the targets set by the government. We found this graph useful in explain the importance of cotton export in India.

Cotten Prices Increase with Ban

Yesterday India banned all exports of cotton with immediate effect which has increased global prices as much as 4.5% and is thought to squeeze global supplies.
“Export of cotton has been prohibited till further orders,” said a statement from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
India is the second largest producer and exporter of cotton in the world and will make 16.7% of global exports in 2011/12.
The reason for the ban was reported as the trend of domestic consumption and depletion of domestic availability according to the Indian Government. Apparently there are also signs of other countries stockpiling cotton.
The result of the ban could mean that CHina could start buying from the USA which would increase prices further.
