Cotton continues to rise hitting an all time high. With the cost of manufacture and transport due to fuel prices Manufactures of textiles have warned of a price rise in April. We have seen major manufacturers like Fruit of the Loom forced to almost double some of their t shirts and corporate clothing in the last 6 to 8 months.

This is effecting retail as the prices in the high street have risen sales have dropped with many retailers reporting a poor first quarter for this year
