A shark at a New Zealand aquarium bitten by another shark unexpectedly released four baby sharks as visitors at the aquarium watched in amazement.

An aquarium manager reported that stunned visitors saw the injured shark and informed staff that they had also seen bits float from the gaping wound.
The baby sharks were removed from the tank to prevent other sharks from eating them.Staff also moved the mother they found a further four sharks inside her.The Large wound was stitched by a vet at Kelly Tarlton’s Underwater World in Auckland.”

Mother and babies are doing well,  All eight baby sharks survived.
