Calls this morning to sack our beloved Jeremy Clarkson from Chris Mole of the Labour party have started a row over comments made by Jeremy in last Sundays Top Gear broadcast. Whilst driving a lorry through a brick wall Jeremy made remarks that caused 1800 people to complain to the BBC. Earlier this year a former lorry driver, Steve Wright, was convicted of murdering five prostitutes in Ipswich, enough said.
I am sure Jeremy is sorry for the comments, but let us not now start a witch hunt on every comment that is made on the Beeb.

Once the trials were completed the artwork and positives were then supplied to the Amercian T shirt printer chosen by WPS who are printing them for the US market.
The full colour design was reproduced and prepared by Acorn’s own art department.

TROOP AID was founded in November 2006 by three ex servicemen, Ray Warren, Captain (retired) Al Sutton and Derek Joss as a result of a visit to Selly Oak Hospital’s Alexander Wing in Birmingham . This is the home of the Defence Medical Welfare Services who are responsible for the welfare of all Armed Forces Personnel, male and female who have been injured during the conflict in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.
What do they do ?
When Troops return to the United Kingdom from the war zones they arrive back in their uniform, for example combat kit, boots etc. They do not have any civilian clothing and usually no money to purchase essential necessities for their immediate use.
The objective of TROOP AID is to supply the basic essentials required when Service casualties return from serving their country overseas.
Examples of what they supply are: A large holdall containing washing and shaving kit, trainers and socks, underwear, tracksuits,T-shirts sweatshirts and a warm fleece. Female requirements are also provided.
They also supply videos, dvds, books, games and confectionery which includes chocolate, crisps, biscuits etc.
Acorn have been in a supply partnership with Troop Aid from the begining and are very proud to continue to support them. They are doing a fantasic job and it has just been anounced that Prince Charles has agreed to become their Patron. This truly a great moment for the charity (Registered Charity No: 1123888) The support for them has been fantastic and now with Royal approval they will go from strength to stregth.
If you would like to support them please visit their website http://www.troopaid.info/

As Felipe Massa crossed the finish line today in the final F1 race of the year his family started to celebrate the World champion ship title just 10 seconds to soon. With Hamilton in 6th position coming into the last bend it seemed certain that Massa had not only won on home turf but also gained the title by one point.
The final race of the year turned out to be one of the best races for many years, with the weather changing so many times during the race made it a real old fashioned cat and mouse chase for the World Championship title. Massa drove the perfect race from start to finish and barring a major error of mechanical failure was not going to be caught but we all sat on the edge of our chairs right to that last corner when Hamilton took Sebastian Vettel seconds before going over the line in 5th position giving him the Champion title.
Well done Lewis. It’s great to have a British Champion again.
