Just been on the Halifax web site, yes it’s still there, no mention of the problems but there is a nice big advert saying “Be smarter with your money” not sure if that should continue with bank else where. It is difficult to understand how these banks etc get into trouble. Their interest rates being so high must earn excellent revenue, it can only be that they are very wasteful when it comes to controlling the overheads. Time to review some of the fat cats salaries I think.
