The left hand breast is embroidered with the uni crest or society logo and often the name is embroidered on the opposite breast. On the back it is normally a print as this reduces the overall cost over having an embroidered logo on the back.

Love or hate them there here to stay. First we had jeans then t shirts now hoodies have joined the band. Once the domain of the cool youngster the hoodie despite all the bad press they have survived and continue you to grow with many manufacturers now bringing out many new styles. The full zipped hoodie is catching on although it may be the blue rinse and OAPs can’t get their arms high enough to get a standard hoodie on. On the other hand it just maybe for sport, they may be quicker and easier to get on and off at the track.

A new year a New Look

Acorn wish you all a Happy new year. Our Sales office opens on the 2nd of January and we are all excited about the new ranges that will be added during this month for the year. Ralawise are bringing out a new Hoodie under the brand name of AWDis with 30 colours being availabe. It’s 80% cotton and weighs in at 280gsm and sizing 36″ through to 52″ chest. As soon as stock is available it will appear on the website.

New Fairtrade Hoodie arrives on time

Acorn have bought their own Fair trade hoodie into the country for 2008. Managing Director Clive Horlor comments that the limited supply in the UK has prompted the Company to take this step so they can continue to satisfy the Student market for fair trade clothing. It is a market that has grown rapidly over the last 12 months and this growth has seen supply problems.
