Just been on the Halifax web site, yes it’s still there, no mention of the problems but there is a nice big advert saying “Be smarter with your money” not sure if that should continue with bank else where. It is difficult to understand how these banks etc get into trouble. Their interest rates being so high must earn excellent revenue, it can only be that they are very wasteful when it comes to controlling the overheads. Time to review some of the fat cats salaries I think.

Many farmers in the developing countries have to contend with fluctuating prices that may not cover their costs. In general all the larger manufacturers now ensure their producers are treated well. The registration confirms that.

Camper t shirts galore to be found at van fest. It’s amazing what people would rather do than sell their camper (according to the t shirts). Even saw some of our hoodies that we printed for a retail company in Devon and Cornwall.

This weekend see 8000 camper vans at the biggest camper show in the world. VW fans of the old splities and bay window campers will be out in force despite the rain. A great week end to go and rummage around the trade shows for new and old bits for your Camper. I will be going but not in my 1971 bay as it is nearing the end of a very long rebuild. The 10 years I’ve been messing about is coming to an end. Within six months it will be on the road. This weekend is the buying of the engine so it’s getting serious.

A charity formed in 1982 to help children is celebrating it’s 25th Birthday this year. Acorn are very proud to be associated with them. Their work is not only in the Uk but includes helping children in Romania, Kosovo and Bulgaria. The work of this small charity is carried out by volunteers so the money raised goes direct to help the children.
