Rob Andrews was a fine player and much admired, but his role in rugby since hasn’t been startling. Newcastle never ever really made it to the top and his current outburst against Clive Woodward is somewhat thoughtless, he should really engage brain before blaming England’s erratic performance since the 2003 World Cup on Clive Woodward.
It was the RFU that had the lack of foresight after the 2003 World cup win, their lack of ability to sort out the problems with the premier league mixed with not being able to committ to the next stage of team England development.
I like most rugby fans will echo the thoughts and comments of Andy Robinson, Andrews is being disrespectful.

A Boards display your Company
With times getting harder for a business to get an order it pays to advertise. A boards are a cheap and very effective way to let the public know whose working on the house or placed outside a business premises catches the eye. Compared with advertising in the local press it’s very easy on the pocket and one of the most direct forms of advertising.
They can easily be folded up and transported to the next job or simply put away at night. Call Acorn for a quote on Free phone 0800 0190 552 and ask for Duncan.

Apparently according to the latest research, most men what a traditional wife and women are often only to happy to oblige. At the top of the men’s wish list was for the wife to take care of the home, cooking and cleaning.
I understand that there is certain food the cause women to lose their sexual appetite. it’s called wedding cake. I can only assume the research discounted men’s basic instinct or that they interviewed eunuchs.
The research goes on to report that the most valued attributes women want in men are as follows, 1. listen to want I say, 2. financial stability, 3. Being a great parent, 4. Gardening
I remember a friend sending me an email on how to please a women. It filled 5 A4 sheets and at the end was a list on how to please a man. One line ! come naked and bring a bottle.
If life, was only that simple

With the summer come and gone (you blinked) it’s hard to believe that next month many young loved ones will leave home for the first time to start a new academic life at their chosen University. For some parents a time of sorrow for others relief. Two of my drinking friends are such parents. The first amazed that his son has got there in the first instance, claims if his brains where made of gun powder he wouldn’t have enough to blow his beanie off. The other is concerned that he may want to come back home. He tried to sell his complete works of the Encyclopedia Britannica on eBay as he reckon’s his son knows everything.
And me ! I just hope they want some hoodies printed

We have a Labour Government ? We are currently taxed beyond belief and now the poor motorist is set to pay again as trials are given the go ahead to look at the technical feasibility of special VIP lanes that for an extra fee the right to cruise passed stationary motorway traffic. Won’t that breach our human rights ?
The transport secretary Ruth Kelly thinks the M6 toll road has worked. The toll road is so little used that the original £2 fee has risen to £4.50 to cover the costs. The M6 / M5 juction is still a nightmare, bless her.
“Money Money Money it’s a rich mans World” and I thought that was an ABBA song.

When I first turned on the telly this morning I thought I was watching a new sport “bouncing on the spot”. I then realised it was Taekwondo, three two minute rounds of bouncing up and down. That was until I saw what the corner judges did not, that awesome kick to the face from Stevenson. How come with me been over 10,000 miles away I could see it yet two of the judges 4 mtrs away missed it.
All was put right in the end but the upset must have effected Stevenson in the next round.
All in all not a bad Olympics for the ole Brit team. Well done to everyone out there.
Thought for the day! The Brit team can reduce their Carbon footprint by not flying our politicians back, we can leave them out there.
Nottinghill Carnival……….. coming next
regards Clive

Earth Positive Clothing Is amongst first of the leading manufacturers to introduce the 30 dec wash for their fabrics. Many of the major producers now have material that should be washed at 30 deg, however the humble tumble (dryer) is a major user of power. More and more manufacturers are pushing the good old fashioned drying line.
